Without our partners, giving community, and you, we are not able to subsidize the care that our candidates need and deserve.
Access to necessary dental treatment is a large barrier in the field of medicine. For some, access and affordability are equally difficult. At It's About Smile, we strive to change this within our community so that the people we serve can sustain their health with access to comprehensive dental care.

In serving our community, we subsidize costs and accept volunteer workers to help use achieve our ultimate goal: Helping eliminate oral health disparities one community, one patient, and one smile at a time.
Taking Care of Our Candidates
With It's About Smile, you can expect to be treated by a North Carolina licensed dentist and trained and certified dental assistants. In addition, our experienced administrative dental professionals make for a seamless intake process.

Becoming an It's About Smile
Care Candidate
If you are considering enrolling in It's About Smile as a care candidate, the forms required are listed below. After you have completed all the listed documents and added the documents listed on the Care Candidate Checklist, please submit them to itsaboutsmile@gmail.com for review. The subject line for this email should be "Care Candidate Enrollment."

Each Care Candidate document is processed and Care Candidates are selected based on specific criteria set by regional statistics.

If you are selected, you will receive a phone call to establish your first appointment at the discussed location. You will be notified about any charges you may incur based on the information provided in you application process.
